A Journey of Faith and Generosity: Tanya’s Arrival in Milwaukee

“We’re here!” 💙

Tanya and Teresa arrived safely in Milwaukee last night.

Today, they checked into Kathy’s House (@kathyshousemilwaukee) — a truly beautiful place that feels like home from the moment you walk in. From the cozy living room to the welcoming kitchen and peaceful garden views, it’s first-class in every way.

Kathy’s House provides affordable lodging and a warm community for patients and families traveling to Milwaukee for medical care. Its comfort and compassion set the perfect tone for the next chapter in Tanya and Jason’s story.

Today marks an incredible milestone as Tanya prepares for surgery — the moment when years of prayer, persistence, and purpose finally come together.

Meet Tanya: Jason’s Hero Donor

In this short video, Tanya shares how she came to be Jason’s “hero donor” — a journey that began three years ago with a single decision to help, and has now grown into a chain of generosity that will save lives through the DOVE Transplant – Living Kidney Donation for Veterans program.

Gratitude, Faith, and Hope

Tanya’s selflessness and strength continue to inspire everyone following this journey. Her gift not only saves another person’s life but also opens the door for Jason to receive his long-awaited kidney transplant through the National Kidney Registry.

We are deeply grateful for Tanya’s unwavering faith, courage, and love — and for the DOVE Transplant - Living Kidney Donation for Veterans that made this connection possible.

ABOUT JASON

Jason, who was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy at 31 years old, has spent his adult life serving others — his country, his family, and his community — all while managing years of dialysis and the daily challenges of kidney failure. Tanya’s gift represents a turning point in his long fight for health and hope.
