A Joy-Filled Recovery Day 3 for Tanya❤️🦦
Recovery Day 3 brought a bright mix of sunshine, surprises, and steady strength for Tanya — a day that warmed the spirit and moved her healing forward.
The morning began with a little pain, but Tanya rallied quickly. After breakfast and some sunshine at Kathy’s House, her energy returned, and she was ready for a bit of gentle exploring on what turned out to be a beautiful 62° Wisconsin day. With Teresa by her side, they enjoyed fresh air, a short outing, and time to breathe and reset.
Later in the day, it truly felt like Christmas in November.
Thoughtful gifts, gorgeous flowers, and a couple of “otterly” adorable cheerleaders arrived — each one adding joy, comfort, and encouragement. These surprises wrapped the afternoon in warmth, reminding Tanya just how supported she is from every direction.
They closed the day with dinner at PF Chang’s and a quiet evening to rest — the perfect end to a hopeful, heart-lifting day.
These moments of joy fuel Tanya’s recovery and keep the hope and momentum behind Jason’s transplant journey with DOVE Transplant – Living Kidney Donation for Veterans. going strong. 💙🙏
