Recovery Day 2: Sunshine, Strength, and Small Steps Forward☀️

Tanya’s second day of recovery brought a slower, gentler morning — but spirits are high and progress continues.

After a good lunch and a much-needed shower (always the best medicine), she’s settling into a quiet afternoon at Kathy’s House (@kathyshousemilwaukee), resting comfortably and soaking up the sunshine and crisp Wisconsin air. These small comforts are making a big difference today.

Her strength keeps building, day by day — and with it, the hope and momentum behind Jason’s transplant journey through DOVE Transplant – Living Kidney Donation for Veterans. 💙

ABOUT JASON

Jason, who was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy at 31 years old, has spent his adult life serving others — his country, his family, and his community — all while managing years of dialysis and the daily challenges of kidney failure. Tanya’s gift represents a turning point in his long fight for health and hope.
